In Scotland the national socialists talk about ‘our’ oil
Nature’s black gold will save them from hard toil
From the work of foreigners, they’ll receive a tax windfall
Oil will pay for health education, pensions and all
The nationalists look forward to days of Luxury
Their right, yeah, we know, they tell us endlessly
They need work no more thanks to oil dependency
But they’ll still blame the English, just wait and see.
Oil dependence, kickbacks, bribes, a high currency
Destroy industry, manufactures, like back in 1980
Oil wealth leads to tyranny, police states and poverty
Oil wealth goes to the elites, the rich and powerful
Lawless violence, corruption, destitution is inevitable
Say no to fool’s gold, people! A nation’s wealth is you!
